SUKKUR: The Board of Secondary Education, Sukkur (BSEK) on Monday declared the results of SSC Part-11 (Class X) Science group annual examination, 2017, with a pass percentage of 75.86. Top two positions in the board were secured by girls.
Board of Secondary Education, Sukkur (BSEK), controller Abdul Sami Soomro, said that these girls made them proud and proved that they were not behind boys. The student of Bahria Foundation College Ranipur Faiza bagged the first position, securing 772 marks. The second position was obtained by Ana Gul Qureshi of City School and Zubair Ahmed Mirbahar belonging to Mehran Model College Pano Akil secured third position in the board.
Ana Gul Qureshi told media persons that she did not take tuition so as to get the position in the board; but even then she received Second position. She messaged students that they should believe in themselves and should work hard; they would achieve their target.
According to the controller, total 49,052 students took part in the SSC part II examination out which 2011 student clinched A-one grade, and 8,909 obtained an A grade. 11,854 passed the examination in B grade, and 11,038 and 3,371 students got C and D grade respectively. The controller told that 37,211 boys and girls students passed, while 11,816 failed.
