CHINIOT: A man has committed suicide after strangling to death his five children over a petty family dispute in Muhammad Wala, Lallian, Chiniot.
According to sources, the accused, identified as Muhammad Hussain, resident of village Dalil Wala area of Muhammad Wala, strangled to death his five children, Iqrar 8, Waqas 6, Shahzad 5, Usman 3 and one-year old Rizwan after having an altercation with his wife and later ended his life by hanging himself with a ceiling fan.
According to residents of the area, the suspect was a government employee who exchanged bitter words with his wife, resulting her shifting to her parent’s home.
