KHANEWAL: The Health Department will start a three-day anti-polio drive from December 19 to vaccinate at least 498,739 children – of under five years of age across the district.
Health Executive District Officer (EDO) Ghulam Murtaza Kasra told journalists on Sunday that at least 1,010 polio teams had been constituted for the door-to-door campaign and would be deputed at bus stands, public places, railway stations and other public places.
He said that people could contact polio control room through the helpline number 065-9200147-8 in case of any information or complaints.
