Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan on Wednesday while strongly denouncing Israel’s attacks on innocent Palestinians, expressed complete solidarity with Palestinian brethren in their just struggle for liberation. In his statement to a news channel, the Chief Minister said Israeli army attacks on innocent Palestinians were tantamount to state terrorism and highly condemnable. The Pakistani nation, he said, would continue supporting the Palestinians on every possible diplomatic and moral forums. The international community, he demanded should take serious notice of acts of state terrorism being carried out by the Israeli army against Palestinians. He said Muslim states have to play their necessary role in stopping the state terrorism acts of Israel adding international organizations must take steps on urgent basis for safeguarding the rights of oppressed Palestinians.
Services of nurses
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday congratulated the entire country, especially the nursing community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the occasion of International Nurses’ Day.
In his message in connection with the International Nursing Day, the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that today is the day to highlight the importance of nurses in the society and acknowledge their valuable services.
Nursing is a respected profession, the Chief Minister said, adding, “Nursing is the backbone of the health system.”
Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan said that Nursing is another name for selfless service to humanity and in the current situation of Corona, the nursing community is rendering valuable services.
He said Nurses like doctors and other medical staff are doing selfless service to save the lives of Corona patients.
The Chief Minister KP said that the provincial government values the services and sacrifices of nurses. “On this day, I salute the nurses for their passion for service,” Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said, adding, “The provincial government will continue to take steps for the welfare of nurses.”
“Salute to your hard work and wish you a very Happy Nurse Day,” the Chief Minister KP said, adding, “We can sleep comfortably because we know that someone is there to take care of our loved ones, someone is there to give them medicines on time and you are doing a wonderful job so warm wishes to you on International Nursing Day.
The theme for this year’s International Nurses Day is Nurses: A Voice to Lead-A Vision for Future Healthcare. Like doctors and other health care workers, nurses are at the forefront of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
