Demise of Sikh Pilgrims in a train accident is a tragic incident. Railways minister is mere rhetoric and should be ousted.
Railways minister must be inquired of the steps he had taken so far for the betterment of the department. These were the thoughts expressed by PPP’s secretary information Sagheer Butt, Malik Bhutto Rana Haneef, Khawajah Umer, Shabeer Kamboh, Yasir Butt, Farhan Rabbani, and others at a press conference.
They declared the Sheikhupura Train Incident extremely sorrowful and extended condolences to Sikhs. Railways administration is the culprit here whose inaptitude wreaked this accident. Several dozens of accidents had occurred over the past two years and the government is giving lip service. Railways minister like his fellow ministers is good at talks only while his ministry is in decay. Scurrilous minister on tv-shows speaks ill of opponents and reveals folk stories to masses. Minister is responsible for all the accidents and he should be ousted.
During the previous government, Imran khan demanded resignation after every incident from the minister of the concerned ministry but now he has himself appointed a person as Railway minister whom he previously promised to reject even as a peon; now Imran’s silence over series of incidents is criminal negligence. Shaikh Rasheed makes a lot of prophecies except on the railway. Perhaps this time as well deceased will be declared as responsible.
