After its restoration under a court order, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has disposed of more than 5,000 cases of registration within a short period of time.
So far, PMDC spokesperson Hina Shaukat Kiani said that in just 25 days, with minimum number of staff due to COVID-19, the staff has worked day and nights in shifts.
“Doctors from all over the country and abroad have shown great pleasure over revival of PMDC and their disposal of Registration certificates by the council,” she claimed.
All stake holders and doctor community has appreciated the efforts of the PMDC that after opening its opening after six months there have been a back log of almost 6,534 from which PMDC has manage to issue more than 5,000 cases of registration.
According to her, since the office has been opened approximately 5,500 new cases have been received from doctors for registration.
The spokesperson claimed that PMDC staff is very enthusiastic and working day and night in shifts to facilitate the doctors.
