The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 13,110 on Friday after new cases were confirmed in the country.
Pakistan’s death toll from the new coronavirus rose to 277 after more patients lost their lives in the last 24 hours, health authorities said today.
Officials have recorded more than 2.8 million cases and 201,000 deaths since the virus emerged in China in December.
Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Hamza Shafqat has announced that 15 teams have been formed to keep a check on the prices in the federal capital.
Shafqat, tweeted, that in the last 24 hours 700,000 fines have been issued, 15 people have been arrested, six shops have been sealed completely. He added that 30 shops have been given a warning, while 13 samples have been sent to the laboratories for testing.
The bureaucrat asked the people to register their complaints through the PM’s portal.
