The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has achieved an important milestone on the directives of NAB Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal. The NAB has successfully persuaded the laboratory to reduce corona test charges by 50 percent. In line with the directives of the NAB chairman and supervision of DG NAB Lahore, the awareness and Prevention Wing of the NAB met Director Operations and other senior authorities of Chughtai Laboratory Lahore. The management of Chughtai Laboratory has reduced corona test charges by 50 percent. NAB Lahore had held a meeting with Dr Umer Chughti and management of the laboratory for briefing on April 13 and asked the management to reduce the price without compromising on the quality of tests. Keeping in view welfare of the public the price of corona test had been reduced by 50 percent. NAB Lahore on the direction of Chairman NAB, NAB Lahore has contacted other laboratories for reduction of rates keeping in view of tests of coronavirus. Efforts were underway to combat the deadly virus with mutual understanding and with missionary zeal. On the directives of chairman NAB, special precautionary measures have been taken in NAB Lahore to check the spread of corona.
