A woman Kamla Tunio was allegedly subjected to inhuman violence over a petty issue by son of an influential Wadera in village Thori Bajar located within the limits of Drigh Police Station of Kambar-Shahdadkot district, near here Wednesday. Reports reaching here said that her head was shaved, her face was defaced black and then her house was set ablaze allegedly by the accused. The son of the influential was accompanied by his seven other companions.
According to details, Mansoor son of the woman Kamla Tunio tried to catch a pigeon of an influential son of a landlord after which he became enraged. He forcibly entered into the house of the woman along with his seven companions. They not only beat her mercilessly but shaved her head, defaced her face and also put her makeshift house on fire due to which it completely burnt to ashes, report added. After the incident accused fled from the scene. The affected helpless woman reached Drigh police station and lodged a report against the accused. Cops arrested one of the accused Fazal Muhammad Tunio whereas six other accused including principal accused were still at large when this report was filed. Kamla Tunio alleged that accused also took away her 18-year son Mansoor Tunio with them who is still in their custody. When the news flashed in media, SSP Imran Qureshi, took notice of the inhuman act and he has called the woman to his office. Meanwhile, DIGP Larkana, Irfan Baloch, also took notice of media reports of woman’s torture. He also has called for a detailed report from the SSP Kambar-Shahdadkot about the incident.
