Well-known writer, scholar, researcher and first novelist of Saraiki language Zafar Lashari died here in Ahmedpur East on Monday. Zafar Lashari was born in Mehrabwala, a historical town of Ahmedpur Shariqa, and after having completed his MA, he became associated with teaching and story writing. And from childhood, he was fond of writing a big piece of writing. In 1970, his first Saraiki novel “Nazu” came out and he became the first novelist of Saraiki.
