Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) Senior Puisne Judge Justice Gulzar Ahmed, has taken oath as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP). The oath was administered by, SCP Judge Justice Mushir Alam, in a simple and dignified ceremony in the Supreme Court on Thursday.
Justice Gulzar Ahmed will act as CJP during the period, Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa, the CJP remains abroad. The ceremony was attended by the SCP judges, senior lawyers and law officers. Officers and staff of the SCP were also present at the occasion.
