Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Friday, while declaring corruption as economic terrorism, said that honest leadership was holding the reins of the country and now all decisions would be made according to law and constitution. Talking to a delegation headed by Federation of Pakistan Chamber Commerce and Industry Vice President Sherry Irshad, he said, “No compromise will be made on good governance, accountability, transparency and meritocracy. Those who create hurdles in the progress of the country will have no future.” He said the people had given mandate to the PTI and it would complete its constitutional tenure of five years, which “is our constitutional and democratic right”.
