The police foiled a terror bid as it recovered a huge quantity of explosives and ammunition on Monday. On a tip-off, heavy contingent of police raided a marble factory near Shabqadar area of district Charsadda. During search of factory, 20 kilogram explosives, 50 safety fuses and 1600 explosive sticks were recovered but no arrest could be made. The police sealed the factory, seized the recovered explosives and ammunition. Police claimed that the recovered explosives and ammunition were to be used in terror activities but timely action foiled the bid and further investigation was underway.
