As part of existing active cultural exchanges between Pakistan and Korea, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea held the 6th competition of “Quiz on Korea” in collaboration with the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).
Through the quiz, participants including Pakistani students as well as other interested persons could gain a deeper understanding of the Korean culture, history, etc. The preliminary round took place at the auditorium of the NUML and decided the winner who will participate in the global final round in Korea this coming September.
On the occasion, Kwak Sung-kyu, Ambassador of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, highlighted the benefits of knowing the Korean language and culture. Furthermore, he spoke about strengthening the friendly ties between the Pakistani and Korean peoples through learning about each country’s culture. In the congratulatory remarks, the NUML leadership appreciated the Korean Embassy’s endeavor to enhance academic and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
Overall, the event was a success, as not only the competitors and the audience enjoyed themselves, but they also left motivated to pursue more knowledge about Korea.
