Pakistan People’s Party Secretary Information Dr Nafisa Shah Thursday said despite the Supreme Court’s orders regarding removal of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Murad Ali Shah’s names from the ECL, the government of ‘PM-select’ Imran Khan has failed to implement the apex court judgment.
“The failure of the government in complying with the Supreme Court’s orders is concerning as it exposes PM-select’s biased conduct,” she said in a statement. “It is crystal clear that Shehzad Akbar drafted the JIT report and has brought shame to the institution by doing so,” she claimed. “It is apparent that PM-select Imran Khan is threatened by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s growing popularity in the people and is using anti-democratic means to maintain his position,” she continued. “Government is using accountability and ECL as political tools against opposition,” she concluded.
