The federal government has decided to appoint Arshad Khan as Managing Director of Pakistan Television’s board of governors.
The decision was announced by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry after a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad today.

Arshad who has brought with him vast experience of telecom sector will replace Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi.
Arshad has previously served as managing director of the Pakistan Television in 2004. He has also served as chief executive officer of Ufone.
The new managing director of state-run television is a telecom engineer with Master degree from USA and business diploma from UK.

He has experience of working in various areas of telecommunications, including fixed line, international, long distance, paging and cellular communication to his credit.
