QUETTA: Former Pakistan cricket team captain Younis Khan said that there is a fifty-fifty chance for Pakistan and India to win the upcoming Asia Cup game against each other.
Younis Khan while talking to media here said that the Pakistan and India match in the Asia Cup will be an exciting and pressure game.
Pakistan will face India in Asia Cup 2018 on September 19.
Khan urged regular series between India and Pakistan and said that a series like Ashes could be arranged for the both rivals.
He added that the series should be held once in two years to keep the hype of the rivalry.
The Pakistani record holder batsman led the team to victory in the ICC World T20 held in 2009.
In an answer to a question related Pakistan Super League (PSL) the veteran batsman said that PSL is very important for the revival of the cricket in Pakistan.
He said that leagues like PSL are good way to find new talent.
“Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Shah Afridi all came through PSL,” he added.
Earlier, middle order batsman Shoaib Malik said that Indo-Pak match is just another game and fans should avoid unnecessary hype about the game.
