He said world no longer needed bad minded and ignorant leaders who termed political opponents as traitors and free media as enemies of the country. He congratulated Joe Biden on his victory as President of the United States. “As President of the United States, you have to play a vital role in curbing the growing hateful, violent attitudes around the world,” he said. “The world expects you to play a leading role in tearing down the walls of interfaith harmony that have been erected between people and nations,” he added. Muhammad Ali Durrani said that now is the time for the world to stand up for peace and protection of basic human rights. He hoped that the US President would stand with the oppressed Kashmiris in restoring their basic human rights and their right to self-determination.
