Punjab DG ACE Gohar Nafees has taken notice of millions of rupees embezzlement in Multan’s Nishter Hospital. The DG has directed Multan region ACE Director Haider Watoo to thoroughly probe the matter and finalise investigation report within two weeks. Earlier, office holders of the Pakistan Medical Association including its Multan Chapter president had called for a probe by ACE while addressing a press conference about the corruption scandal. Commenting on the matter, DG Gohar said that on the request of the doctors , investigation into the embezzlement scandal has been ordered to ascertain the facts.
