Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Lt. Gen (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa Saturday hailed the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech at United Nations General Assembly saying it made every Pakistani proud and truly represented.
Reacting over PM’s virtual speech at UNGA, Bajwa said in his tweet that the PM’s clear stand on Kashmir and regional peace was worth appreciating.
“His pledge to lift our masses out of poverty, stern warning to India on any misadventure and much more (was) worth appreciating,” he added.
Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Khan Gandapur on Saturday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan once again delivered a historic speech at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
In a statement, he said that PM Imran Khan proved to be a real advocate and ambassador of Kashmiris, adding that people of Kashmir was appreciating the Prime Minister’s address at UNGA.
The minister said that Prime Minister strongly presented the case of Kashmiris to the whole world, adding that Kashmir issue was being highlighted at international level with efforts of the government.
“International support for the Kashmir issue has risen sharply since Imran Khan’s speech last year,” he said.
The minister said that Pakistan will continue to highlight the Kashmir issue at the international level. He said that decades long Indian atrocities and brutalities on people of Kashmir will end soon.
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz Friday said Prime Minister Imran Khan exposed RSS extremist ideology and the oppression against the Muslims by India. In a tweet on social media platform Twitter, he said the suggestion of a framework by the Prime Minister to bring back the stolen money laundered abroad was expression of his strong determination. He said the PM talked about all important issues including coronavirus.
The Prime Minister once again delivered a historic speech at the United Nations and made the nation proud, he added.
The minister said he presented the case forthrightly before the world, adding achieving peace in the region will remain a dream without resolution of the Kashmir issue.
Imran Khan made it clear to the world that Kashmiris were denied their right to self-determination, he added.
