Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has stated that motorway rape case will be solved soon. The Punjab government stands with the affected woman and her family and all sympathies are with them, he said.
The chief minister said criminals involved in this gruesome act do not deserve any leniency. He assured that all requirements of justice will be fulfilled and the government will go to the last extent to provide justice to the affected woman. Punjab police have already brought different criminals, involved in such tragic incidents, to the net of the law and this case will also be traced and the criminals will not escape from the grip of the law, he added.
Chief Minister Buzdar also sought a report from RPO DG Khan about an alleged incident of woman’s molestation in Taunsa and directed to arrest the criminals early. He has also assured the affected family that justice will be done at every cost.
Ghulam Bibi Bharwana MNA and Provincial Minister Ansar Majeed Niazi called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Talking on the occasion, the CM maintained that those trying to create chaos and anarchy are not loyal to the nation. The critics have always been disappointed and those engaged in the politics of anarchy will never be successful, he said. These elements are enemies to the provincial development while the nation has full confidence over the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The government burnt the midnight oil to solve public problems, he said.
CEO of the Lahore Qalandars Rana Atif called on Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and discussed matters about promotion of different sports activities including the play of cricket.
The CM observed that Lahore Qalandars has taken exemplary steps for the promotion of cricket and added that he fully supports the talent hunt programme of Lahore Qalandars. The youth of south Punjab will be provided sports facilities as the southern part of the province has tremendous talent and private promoters will also be encouraged. There is a need to devolve talent hunt programme at the grassroots, the CM further said.

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a man of principles, courageous statesman and a fair-minded personality.
In his message, the CM stated the establishment of a just society based on the golden principles of justice, tolerance and brotherhood was the mission of the Quaid-e-Azam. The PTI-led government is striving to materialise this dream of the founding father and Prime Minister Imran Khan is working hard in this regard. PM Imran Khan is striving to make Pakistan equally propitious for one and all, he said. He asserted the dream of a welfare state of Pakistan, envisioned by the Quaid-e-Azam, will be materialized under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide socio-economic justice to all the citizens. We will have to follow the golden principles of unity, faith and discipline to move Pakistan forward and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had also guided the nation to follow these principles, he added. Pakistan can get rid of all the crises by following the sayings of the Quaid-e-Azam. We will have to utilize all our energies to make Pakistan great and strong. The best way to pay tributes to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is to promote national unity by setting aside all our temporal interests, the CM concluded.
