An investigation team of Wahi Pandhi police station led by DSP city Johi, Per Bux Chandio, SHO Wahi Pandhi police station, inspector Ameer Ali Birohi on Monday visited the Shahi Makan area, where a girl namely Gul Sama Rind had been stoned to death.
Wahi Pandhi Police investigation team also found blood marks on stones (which collapsed on her according to parents of Gul Saima Rind).
The house owners refused to hand over the clothes to the police which she was wearing at the time of her death.
House is located at a distance of 30 kilometres west of Wahi Pandhi town in taluka Johi of Dadu district at Karo Jabal hills-Kheer Thar Ranges mountain along with border of Sindh-Balochistan.
Wahi Pandhi police team also recorded the statements of children of neighbouring houses of Ali Bux Rind, those have told the investigation team of Wahi Pandhi police station.
Molvi Mumtaz Leghari who led the funeral prayer , identified the grave of Gul Sama Rind at Lalri Lak gravyard.
SSP Dadu, Dr Farrukh Raza Malik said that police was conducting raids at different places to arrest more nominated accused in FIR of Gul Sama Rind case. He said that accused escaped towards Balochistan. He said that accused would be arrested after constituting committee of senior police officers. He said that the investigation of the case of Gul Sama Rind was going on. He said that, on Sunday a local court has handed over the two accused to Wahi Pandhi police on three days remand for investigation. He said that the mother of deceased, Gul Sama Rind was kept at woman police station for investigation. He said that application was submitted to district and session Judge Dadu for exhumation of the body of deceased Gul Sama Rind. He said that a letter was written to Mukhtiarkar Johi for making map of the spot He said that with different aspects, the investigation of the case was going on. He said that under the DSP Johi city, investigation was started and police was conducting raids in area.
Following the application of SSP Dadu, district and session Judge Dadu referred the application to civil and judicial magistrate Johi for exhumation body of Gul Sama Rind.
District and Session Judge Dadu has directed to civil and judicial magistrate Johi to dispose of the application accordance of the law.
Sardar Meer Bibrag Khan Rind, younger son of tribal Chief of Rind tribe, Sardar Yar Mohammad Khan Rind has said that where girl Gul Sama Rind has died, he was not present or not Jirga held. He said that Gul Sama Rind was not stoned to death but it was a plan to affect the political influence and position of his, his father and his tribe people in area hence such tactics were used to hit their political position and harass his tribe people.
He said that such news of holding of Jirga related with girl of his tribe Gul Sama Rind was fake. Meer Bibrag Khan Rind isued his statement and sent to newsmen of Dadu through whatsup and e mails related with Gul Sama Rind death matter on Monday.
Meer Bibrag Khan Rind has influence along with Kheer Thar Ranges and border of Sindh Balochistan, he is the son of PTI leader, advisor to PM, Sardar Yar Mohammad Khan Rind. He further said that everyone know about Baloch principles and rules, if the Jirga related with honour killing happens, the parties from both sides, affected party and opposite party and neutral people from area would be called, later Jirga decides the decision after hearing everyone.
He said that the funeral prayer is never arranged for those declared Karo-Kari, but after death of Gul Sama Rind, funeral prayer was held.
He said that it was quite fake news about death of Gul Sama Rind due to stoning after holding Jirga and declaring her Kari-Kari(honour killing) in decision of Jirga.
He said that it was plan to affect the political reputation of his father Sardar Yar Mohammad Khan Rind and his position in area.
In his written statement sent to media, Meer Bibrag Khan Rind said that area PPPMNA Rafiq Ahmed Jamali and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah were trying to affect the position of his tribe people and his and his father through different ways, hence time to time different tactics were used against them like this artificial created issue was part of plan against them.
