Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), on Sunday, has issued a flood warning over parts of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the next week. Parts of upper and central Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir are expected to receive rainfall while western winds are also said to visit the region on Sunday according to a press release from the met office. Various parts of Sindh would receive light to moderate rainfall. The country is also expected to experience fast winds and hailstorm in the first week of March, including snowfall in upper Sindh. Rainfall in Balochistan has finally brought respite to the drought conditions, across the province with a decrease in overall temperature.
