At least five persons have been injured in an attack on Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Sirajul Haq’s in Lower Dir.
“Shots were fired and stones were thrown at the rally from Awami National Party (ANP) provincial assembly candidate Bahadur Khan’s haveli,” claimed JI spokesperson Qaiser Sharif.
JI chief remained safe in the attack.
According to reports, JI youth wing was being held from Manda Dir to Timergara.
A case was registered against five workers each of both the parties.
