KARACHI: A meeting held in Karachi being chaired by IG Sindh A D Khawaja was attended by all the DIGs, SSPs, DSPs, and SHOs of Karachi police range.
During the meeting, IG Sindh let it be known that the street crimes are totally unacceptable and that a crackdown should be launched against street crimes, betting and drug centres, and Iranian petrol.
A D Khawaja warned by letting it be known that the action would be taken against officers who do not perform despite the issuance of warning against them.
IG Sindh also expressed that those who do not perform would have to go home.
He also urged the officers to work on the cases of officers being killed by the hands of terrorists and that the ones who are injured by the terrorists should be admitted to hospitals.
IG Sindh also had separate meetings with officers and warned all the station in-charges against whom complaints were made by the agencies.
