The federal government on Saturday decided to call session of National Assembly to discuss legislation about extension in service of the army chief. As per details, ministry of parliamentary affairs has sent a summary to President to call NA session on December 4. Sources said the session would discuss legislation on important issues while opposition will raise public issues regarding inflation and overpricing. Sources further said government and opposition are likely to make contacts from next week to discuss law making for extension of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. SC has directed government to make necessary legislation for appointment and extension of Army Chief within six months.
