The National Accountability Bureau, (NAB) Rawalpindi conducted a raid at the residence of Parks and Horticulture former director general Liaquat Ali in Karachi in a fake accounts case and recovered details of illegal assets on Thursday. According to NAB sources, files of twenty plots worth billions of rupees, eight luxury vehicles, latest weapons, gold jewelry and foreign currency including dollars, riyals and dirhams were seized from the suspect’s home. The details of the goods confiscated from Ali’s house consist of eight pages, and the accused had identified the belongings himself. He is a prime suspect in illegal allotments of Bagh Ibne Qasim.
