A man committed suicide in Sargodha district after killing seven members of his family, including three women, on Tuesday, police said. According to police, Noor Din, who belongs to a Pathan family, killed his brothers and nephews while using automatic arms. Among those killed were Akbar Khan, Qalam Din, Jamal Khan, Durran Khan and women Shaista Bibi, Barang Bibi and Shewa Bibi. After the shooting, Noor Din shot himself and ended his life. The incident was reported in Liksaa police station. Police arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital. Regional Police Officer Afzal Ahmed sought a detailed report about the incident from the local SHO. Sources said that the initial incident may seem to be the culmination of a family dispute, but the real reasons will be determined after an investigation.
