Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan was hospitalised on Tuesday due to a health problem. According to details, Firdous Ashiq Awan took anti-biotic in sore throat after which her condition deteriorated. She was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) where according to medics the PM’s adviser would remain under treatment for 24 hours. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan phoned Firdous Ashiq Awan and inquired about her health. The prime minister also wished her early recovery. A bouquet was also sent by the prime minister to Firdous to express his good wishes for her health, according to a statement.
