Given the presence of terrorists’ centres and prevalence of subversive activities in Shikarpur, there is a dire need for ruthless operation. It was once again claimed by the leaders of Shuhda Committee Shikarpur during a press conference held at Shikarpur Press Club, here on Wednesday.
Allama Maqsood Ahmed Domki, the Chairman Shuhda Committee Shikarpur, said that Shikaprur police have given stunning surprise to people of Sindh and Balochistan by killing two national level terrorists and masterminds of many suicide and remote control blasts in Sindh & Balochistan. They include Abdullah Brohi and Hafeez Brohi, Ameer and Naib Ameer, respectively; belonging to international proscribed organization Sindh chapter, apprehended during an encounter took place near Sibi town of Balochistan on 1st March of 2019 by Shikarpur police. But Shikarpur is still at security risk, he insisted and it proved when Shikarpur kept on high alert by placing police and Rangers personnel at all entry and exit points.
Domki also criticized the decision taken by SSP Shikarpur Sajjid Ameer Sadozai, for curbing the security of all Imambargahs and Shia leaders. He claimed that all the Imambargahs and leaders have been left over at the mercy of terrorists because leaders of the Shia community are already on the hit list of terrorists.
He further said that the life of a common man and government officer/official is critical and therefore, Shikarpur police should not avoid delaying tactics when the question rises for the life of common citizen.

Besides, he further alleged that forth schedule is being used against Shia leaders and workers to harass them. In this regard, the name of Fida Hussain Larik and the name of Molvi Sikandar Ali Dal have been enlisted in the list of forth schedule. He also challenged the district administration to bring any evidence against both of leaders whose names have been kept in the list of forth schedule.
He also asked for the elected representatives of Shikarpur to take notice in delaying to build Yadgar Tower to commemorate to martyrs of Central Imambargah Lakhidar Shikarpur.
Replying to a question, he welcomed the decision by federal government to impose the ban on proscribed organizations in Pakistan and termed it “a good sign”.
He, however, demanded the Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police Larkana to take notice of the sheer injustices being continued with Shia leaders and workers and thereby play their role to eliminate centres of terrorists in Shikarpur.
Molvi Sikandar Ali Dal, Ali Asghar Sethar, Mansoor Ali and other leaders and workers also flanked during the press conference.
