LAHORE: At least nine people died and 45 other were left injured as a result of rain-related incidents that occurred across Punjab, sources stated on Sunday.
Authorities state that six people were killed and 30 people died in Bahawalpur due to incidents related to thunderstorms.
Another storm took the life of a 10-year old child and left a 19-year old seriously injured in Chichawatni.
Several signboards, trees and electricity poles fell down across the province.
Seven children also died after a seminaries roof collapsed in Multan.
A woman also lost her life in another roof collapse.
