A blast near a police vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday injured at least seven people, including four policemen and two women.
Police officials informed media that the van was on routine patrol when it was targeted. The bomb had been planted on Bannu road within the jurisdiction of the Cantt Police Station.
Officials said that police reached the site and cordoned off the area to collect evidence while the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
