BADIN: Pakistan Fisher Folk Forum (PFF) has organized a closing ceremony of the “opportunity training” on Thursday.
Hundreds of people, including men and women from different areas of coastal part of Sindh, including members of civil society and officials from different departments participated in the event.
The speakers including Sayed Yasmeen Muhammad Ali Shah, Ghafar Khoso, Tanveer Ahmed Arain, Mithan Mallah, Umar Mallah, Yasin Tunio, Muhammad Khan Samoon and others said that the government departments and Non-Governmental Organizations also have joined hands to eliminate poverty from the province of Sindh.
The further said that the PFF, in collaboration with WHH, has completed the project of providing training opportunities, which proved helpful in minimizing poverty in the coastal belt. On the occasion, representatives of the PFF and civil society condemned the act of land grabbing in the Union Council Ahmed Rajo and others areas and demanded that their lands should be freed from the grabbers.
