Supreme Court (SC) has reserved judgment in PTV employee Nadia Naz harassment case. A three-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Mushir Alam took up the case for hearing Tuesday. During the hearing of the case, counsel for Nadia Naz took the plea that three different show-cause notices were issued to his client to pressurize her. Show-cause notices were issued to her on small matters for pressurizing her. Misuse of power also comes in the ambit of harassment. Justice Mushir Alam while addressing counsel for the petitioner remarked if notices have been issued then forums as per law are there to file appeal. The counsel for PTV employee told the court on one occasion President of Pakistan, Mohtasib and high court rejected the PTV woman employee stance on sexual harassment. Justice Yahya Afridi remarked the petitioner lady has accepted the decision of non-harassment by not filing appeal against Mohtasib decision. The court reserved the judgment of the case which will be announced later.
