NEW YORK: Dr Maleeha Lodhi, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United Nations met with the President of United Nations General Assembly Maria Fernanda Espinosa. During their meeting, Dr. Lodhi gave a briefing about India’s ongoing atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
The envoy briefed the UNGA president in detail about the human rights violations being perpetrated in Indian-occupied Kashmir, where a curfew and the communications blackout have entered the 23rd day.

In early August the Pakistani ambassador to UN met UN Security Council (SC) President Joanna Wronecka to highlight India’s illegal action in occupied Kashmir along with breaking the Security Council’s laws
