Taxila: The former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Wednesday stated he will not go to Lahore to welcome Nawaz Sharif, he added, “Even if I had been a part of PML-N, I would not have gone either.”
While talking to the media, the minister remarked that 3 to 4 PML-N members returned the party tickets and choose “Jeep” as their electoral sign.
There was chaos that I have made a group, Nisar said, I wanted to clarify that I do not belong to any group and if I was meant to make a separate group I have had many ways to do so, he added.
The former Interior Minister further remarked, “accountability should not be restricted to the politicians only, any institution, even if the army, is involved in any corruption then it should be investigated.”
He clarified that he had not met Shehbaz Sharif in recent time. He further stated, “I am working in my (four) constituencies and I have no time to answer the criticism.”
The minister concluded by saying that Pakistan is facing many social, economic and political issues, and instead of fighting for politics everyone should work with unity for the betterment of Pakistan.
