GUJRANWALA: City Police Officer Ashfaq Khan said that a foolproof security plan for Youm-e-Ali has been finalised. 1500 police officers and officials were deputed at different roads and places to provide security to the participants of 19 processions and about 53 Majalis in the district. He said CCTV cameras have been installed along the procession routes and walk through gates will also be installed at all the entrance points of Imam Bargahs. He stressed upon the need for citizens,especially clerics, to promote religious harmony and brotherhood to defeat the designs of anti-peace elements.
