A civilian named Abdul Rauf was martyred in an unprovoked firing incident by the Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) on civilian population across the Line of Control (LoC), said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press statement on Monday.
The ISPR press release said that the Indian security forces opened fire on civilian population at the Kotkoterra Sector. Rauf was grazing animals when he became a target of the firing by the Indian troops, said the ISPR.
