SIALKOT: While addressing the participants of the annual prize distribution ceremony in Cadet College Sialkot on Sunday, Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana said that high-quality and devoted teachers are an asset as they are the true builders of the nation.
He urged the teachers and parents to focus on the students’ character-building and stressed the need to bring about a change in our attitude towards the promotion of quality education. He also called for the removal of hurdles in the way of this noble cause, saying that students were the future of this country and everyone should ensure their educational future.
Rajwana said that the world was appreciates Pakistan’s frontline for establishing peace in the region. He added by saying that Pakistan’s armed forces successfully eradicated militancy, insurgency and terrorism.
He said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a gateway to prosperity, which would bring an economic revolution and provide huge employment opportunities to the Pakistanis. The governor also said that Pakistan’s defence was in very safe hands and no one could dare to cast an evil eye on our beloved country.
Tributes were paid to the victims of Army Public School, Peshawar through a tableau. Later, the governor and the principal distributed medals, prizes and trophies among the cadets.
