ISLAMABAD:The Islamabad Police arrested nine peddlers from the city and recovered 30 litre liquor, 465 gram heroin, 310 gram hashish and weapons from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.
According to details, Koral Police nabbed Liaqat for having 310 gram hashish. BharaKahu police detained Abdul Sattar and Ghulam Shabbiron possession of 44 bore rifle and one 30 bore pistol respectively.
Karachi Company police arrested Khurram Shehzad, recovered 30 litre liquor from him. Abdul Rehman and Nauman were also nabbed for decanting gas in cylinders illegally.
Tarnol police arrested Sajid Mehmood and Sohaib Abbassi in possession of a total of 465 gram heroin. Cases have been registered against the nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
