LAHORE: The first convocation of School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) at Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) was held on Thursday.
At the ceremony, graduates of BSc (Honors) Medical Lab technology and BSc (Honors) Cardiac Perfusion for the years 2011-2015 were awarded degrees.
University of Health Sciences Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Aslam was the chief guest. PIC Chief Executive Nadeem Malik, Medical Superintendent Dr Dildar Khan, faculty, students and parents were also present.
Position holders were awarded medals while faculty members were given shields. The chief guest praised the standard of education of PIC.
The PIC chief executive announced that degree programmes in other specialties of health sciences would soon be started at PIC.
