Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has departed from Lahore to Geneva, Switzerland, on a private jet for a medical consultation with her personal doctors. According to the TV channel, after spending a few days in Geneva, she plans to travel to European countries with her father and brothers. CM Maryam Nawaz was recently admitted to the Sharif Medical City Complex for about 12 hours due to a severe throat infection and was advised three days of complete bed rest. Maryam’s international travel had been postponed twice in the last three days due to her health issues. However, her local doctors cleared her for travel today. Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also arrived in Geneva from London, where he is expected to meet her daughter, CM Maryam Nawaz, following her medical appointments. Together with her brothers, Maryam Nawaz is anticipated to visit various parts of Europe. Her foreign tour is expected to last about a week, with her return to Pakistan planned for November 12.
