PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Provincial Secretary Nasir Mosazai said more than half the population of Peshawar are deprived of quality basic facilities including proper sanitation systems and roads.
He criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its Clean Peshawar drive. He added that the bad sanitation and worn out roads are issues that have not been addressed while the clean up drives that have been initiated are a façade in front of the already helpless public.
Mosazai also said that the majority of population don’t have access to a clean water supply for drinking, health and basic education facilities. He added that during the last four years the KP government could not provide Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) facilities to the entire city, handing over sanitation services to private contractors who had also failed to provide any positive results.
