KARACHI: Sindh Police Inspector General (IGP) AD Khowaja said on Saturday that police were busy in taking action against criminals without any indiscriminate and their sole aim was only to restore peace and protect life and property of people.
The IGP requested the media personnel – in a statement – to not make speculations regarding criminals, terrorists and high-profile cases – as criminals could take benefit from it.
“We have always shared information with the media about operations against criminals because the police know that only media could better guide the people,” he said.
He further stated that the media’s questions would be answered by the police but ‘it should avoid making speculations about high-profile cases’.
